First Day of Summer: CONQUERED.

FIRST DAY OF "PURE" SUMMER.

So you know how I was complaining about how bored I got the other night? Well...today totally undermined that belief/sentiment/thing.

Here's a breakdown of my day:
  1. 11:15am: Nijmato-potatoe (We shall call her Nijmeh. She is the "Neutral" to my Walrus :D) appears on my doorstep. We then depart for the bus.
  2. Get on bus, laden down with two guitars. At this point, Nijmeh's collarbone was still intact and well. Arrived in town at midday-ish. (We discussed how she thinks too much, and I...well...I don't think. O.o)
  3. 12:13pm: GUITAR LESSONNNN, SONNNN!
  4. 1:15pm: My hand is a mangled mess of bone and flesh, too many bar chords were played.  We then travelled to a storeeeeeeeeeeee.
  5. "A while after that" pm: Left store, Nijmeh has two new shirtylikethingamabobbers...Nijmeh: 1, Wallis: 0 :(
  6. "A little while after the while after that ^" pm: Ended up jamming on our guitars in the park.
  7. Then it rained.
  8. 2:21pm: Nijmeh says, "LET'S GET ON THE FERRY AND RIDE TO THE OTHER END OF THE ISLAND!" Wallis says, "THAT'S NOT RESPONSIBLE AND RANDOM, AND WE MAY NEVER GET HOME AGAIN....LET'S DO IT!"
  9. 3:00pm (approx.): Arrived, went to go look for a tourist straw hat, and then GOT PANINI OF BBQ CHICKEN AND GODLIKE SUBSTANCES! And ate a marshmallow stick. And read Harry Potter. Played more guitar like hobos afterwards.
  10. 3:45pm: Got on ferry, went back to the city.
  11. At a beautiful hour in my life: BOUGHT. NEW. SUNGLASSES. THAT. LOOK. LIKE. STUFF. Nijmeh got Aviators! Nijmeh: 6, Wallis: 10000000009 (because my glasses make me feel like dancing)
  12. Retract that above statement, Nijmeh's glasses make me feel like dancing too...so maybe her score is actually 7. ^^ Love you.
  13. 6:06pm: RETURN HOME WITH NIJMEH FOR $L3[-P0v3R. AND YEAH.
So, that's only a brief outline of our days. However, the point is...it was freakin' fantastic. :) And I am very happy. Superawesome first day of summer.

I'm not going to be anti-social anymore. GOODBYE. Hope your first day of summer feels as brilliant.

The smell of accomplishment...

Have you ever been in the "door is stuck, awkwardly stuck" situation? The one where a door is...well, stuck, you you stand there pushing with all the strength in your panicking body against that door, gritting your teeth thinking, "Listen, you mothereffing piece of shit. You will open, damn you! OPEN!", for a good 23 seconds...you almost give up! But then...

It. opens. "VICTORRRRY. IS. MINE!" you procclaim, and stand there giggling maniacally to yourself, and you breathe in that first breath after overcoming this obstacle...the breath...of a winner. O.O As you inhale, you smell something awesome (stay with me here, I'm almost done), THE SMELL OF ACCOMPLISHMENT!!

See? Brendon gets it.

That's how I felt after I finished my final exams yesterday.  I felt like a freakin' survivor, and multiple other successful entities, but with this feeling in my pocket (and some sunshine.........................SO CORNY), I have begun my summer.

So I woke up this morning with a "IT'S SUMMER. I'M GOING TO DO SOMETHING AMAZING TO KICK IT OFF!" It started off great, there's a Doctor Who marathon on TV, so I watched that. But then after...I was forced to clean (it's terrible, I know.), and then I wanted to hang out with at least one of my friends, but then I was charged with the duty of babysitting.

So here I am now at 5pm, with nothing significantly accomplished, so lesson: Don't try and be amazing and have fun on your first day of summer. SLEEP FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN.

Now that that's all out of the way, a quick update of my life:

HAHA. JOKES. That's boring. To be honest, recently it's just all been about four thing:

1) Exams
2) Not seeing the people I love often enough recently (friends, boyf [grief, I akshully used that])...I've seen my family non-stop, so...hm.
3) My innability to sleep.
4) THE LACK OF ASIAN FOOD IN MY LIFE.

-At this point in this blog post, I stopped, and went off to go talk to family friend.  Funny story: They've known me for a HUGE AMOUNT OF TIME now, and still spell my name as W-A-L-L-A-C-E, -.-" It's okay, Wallace. It's okay. Now to finish this post off-

After watching the new X-Men, my love for Mr. James McAvoy has been renewed.  My friends, this man is quite wonderful. His eyes are the colour of God's tears.

I mean, how can you not love that? ^^

So for now, this is the end, until next time. :)

**I'd like to thank Gemma (I will at some point insert the link to her blog here ____________), for inspiring me to blog.**

EDIT: Last night, I actually left my humble abode and went to go sleep at Megan's house. It was filled with Doctor Who (I KNOW WHO RIVER SONG IS), peach juice, marveling at Megan's artistic abilities, talkingtalkingtalkingabouteverything, and various other activities ^^ And then today, I was given nutella :) I went to the beach, and for dinner: INDIAN FOOD. NOM NOMONOMOFANSDFOJASDFNOMOMOAONOMOJONOMOJONOMNOMFRWEAKINGNOM. So actually a very good weekend :) I lied. THIS POST IS A LIE. MOST OF IT. SOME OF IT.

Also story: When I went to the beach today, I was approached by a little girlchild who looked at me and said, "Are you an asian princess?" (how flattering..) but I corrected my young, new friend and told her that I was, in fact, an Asian Lord King Wizard who was expelled from her rice kingdom by evil sushi destroyers and I was fighting to get my kingdom back! NO MORE EXILE! Her response: "Wicked." I felt fantastic.

Love,

ASIANLORDKINGWIZARD!
